The new home-made series of brand Orehite was honored with an award from The Twelfth National Competition of the Food Industry Union (FIU) in the category for ‘New products and technologies’. With an award in the same category was honoured the home-made large grinded flat salami of the brand.

The competition was part of the National Conference ‘The Future of Food’ (November, Sofia). By tradition, the FIU conferences mark the Day of the Food Industry. The celebration is accompanied by distinguishing of the most successful new products, launched on the market over the past year, which include the products of the well-known brand – Orehite.

The home-made series of Orehite includes six different products – home-made flat salami, home-made chopped flat salami, grinded flat salami, home-made buffalo sudjuk, home-made chase sudjuk and home-made boiled-smoked salami. They are all a high-end products made from a special selection of meat flavored with aromatic natural spices. Based on old recipes with specific drying technology that satisfy even the most demanding taste.
