Sachi Brand Started For Bulgaria with Less salt Cause

National cause for limitation the salt usage in Bulgarians everyday life started in Sofia today. The initiative motto is ‘For Bulgaria with less salt’. It is a result of a one-year-survey of the food practices and policies in Bulgaria and EU countries, as well as the needs of the consumers made by the Sachi team – the brand that for the first time in Bulgaria offers the new line of meat products with up to 30%* less salt. The new products line Sachi Good for You includes – turkey ham, deli salami, and turkey and chicken sausages.
The official start of the cause ‘For Bulgaria with less salt’ was marked with a giant saltbox launch in front of the Ministry of Health, near the Serdika metro station. It symbolizes the quantity of salt, which Bulgaria could save if a day with less salt is chosen. Everyone could make his personal choice on the Facebook webpage of Sachi Good for You (https://www.facebook.com/sachidobrozateb). The saltbox will collect information from all followers of the brand in Facebook. A number of times daily, the giant saltbox will pour in a container as much salt as Bulgaria has saved meanwhile. Thus, visually all the people living or visiting Sofia will be able to see how much salt we use everyday and could reduce in our menu.
Bulgaria is on second place for salt consummation in the world. According to the experts in this field, the campaign ‘For Bulgaria with less salt’ is crucially needed, because would help us realize the advantages of the moderate use of salt and gives us alternatives for having the pleasure of our favourite tastes.
