Minister Desislava Taneva, Atanas Urdzhanov and Dr. Damyan Iliev visited the stands of exhibitors

Leki and Orehite presented a wide portfolio of meat delicacies at this year's forum of the Association of Meat Processors in Bulgaria (AMB) ‘The Secret of Bulgarian Taste’ (Sofia, 09.09.2016). Babek, sudjuk, lukanka, sushenitsa, pork fillet, turkey delicacy, ‘Elena’ fillet, sausages and weenies for grilling were among the temptations prepared especially for the guests of LEKI and Orehite.

The event was hosted by Atanas Urdzhanov - Chairman of AMB and ‘Operations’ director of food holding Bella. He announced the goals of AMB for the period of his presidency (2016-2019), including a greater presence of Bulgarian meat products on the market, the reduction of VAT on basic foods and updating the approved standards ‘Stara Planina’, in which nutrition information to be included.

Traditionally, the business forum of AMB gathers its members along with representatives of the executive and legislative authorities, ambassadors and commercial attaches of other countries, NGOs and journalists. Special guests this year were competent minister of Montenegro and Director of the Food Agency of Cyprus.

The unique taste of traditional Bulgarian products preserved for generations, were presented to the special guests.
