Elza Markova Headed KRIB Plovdiv

Bella’s CEO Elza Markova is now the first chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (KRIB) in Plovdiv. She was elected at the Assembly on the establishment of the organization’s regional office, which was held on March 29, 2016.
Elza Markova is CEO of Bella since 2002. Under her leadership the holding has become one of the largest business organizations in the country. Previously she was a financial expert in the units of ‘Social Services’ in Plovdiv Municipality. Elza Markova is a master engineer-technologist (UFT, Plovdiv) and has qualifications in financial and bank management (UNWE, Sofia). Since 2006 she is a Chairman of KRIB for Southern Bulgaria. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Bureau of GS1 Bulgaria Council at the BCCI (2007).
‘The creation of the regional representation of KRIB in Plovdiv is another success in the expansion of the Confederation and its recognition as an organization with a single voice of Bulgarian business,’ said Elza Markova. According to her, the regional structure of KRIB will work actively to create even better conditions for doing business in the Plovdiv region and the country, and increasing the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy.
KRIB is the largest business organization in the country. The regional structure in Plovdiv brings together over 30 local companies from various sectors of the economy, and the main aim of the organization is to support local businesses in partnership with local authorities. Among the official guests at the event were the Mayor of Plovdiv Ivan Totev, the Mayor of the West Region Dimitar Kolev, deputy governor Vladimir Marinov, the Mayor of Rodopi Municipality Plamen Spasov, Deputy Chairman of KRIB Ivan Boykov, the president of Podkrepa Labour Confederation Atanas Krastev and of the Confederation of Independent Syndicates in Bulgaria Bozhan Boykinski, and representatives of Labour Offices.
