Bella Bulgaria won the Green Business Award of the Ministry of Environment and Water

The food holding of Bella Bulgaria was awarded the Green Business Award by the Ministry of Environment and Water (MEW) in the Big Business category for the project of its flagship brand – “Perelik" - Perelik Forest. The award was presented personally by the Minister, Nona Karadjova, on the World Environment Day, June 6th.
Perelik Forest is located in the foothills of the Rhodope Mountain in the homonymous region of Shiroka Luka, where in 1997 a fire destroyed dozens of acres of forest. It was afforested with black pines by employees of the company a year ago and today is a favourite place for recreation in nature.
