Bella Bulgaria Set Its Sights on a Leading Position in the Greek Pastry Products Market аt Greece Expo 2025

Bella Bulgaria continues to implement its long-term strategy of expanding the company's presence in international markets through innovations and new R&D developments, both for products under the BELLA brand and private labels based on customer recipes or tailored to specific market needs.

With its participation in Greece Expo 2025 this month, Bella Bulgaria announced its ambitious plan to achieve a leading position in the pastry products market in Greece.

‘We know the local market very well, in Greece we are leaders in meat processing with the Kreta Farms brand, and we are in the hearts of the Greeks. At the exhibition in Athens, we laid the foundation for future cooperation with local retail chains and the large-scale HoReCa sector to launch pastry products,’ commented the COO Dimitar Mitev.

Traditionally, the company showcases its pastry product portfolio at the world’s largest food exhibitions – SIAL (Paris) and Anuga (Cologne). In addition, to the two most significant international forums in the food and beverage world, Bella Bulgaria chose to add Greece Expo (Athens) to its list.

The latest booth of Bella Bulgaria is over 100 square meters and features the concept of a ‘bakery’ with the newest model of professional Wiesheu convection oven. With this, the company visualizes the entire process for its clients, including the baking of the products and their irresistible aroma, capturing the attention of the audience and turning it into a draw for future professional partners.

The export team of Bella Bulgaria participates in tenders for long-term projects and large annual volumes and continues to win more private label projects. At the same time, the company is launching its products under the BELLA brand in leading markets across Europe. ‘Our years of product experience, combined with the competitive price/quality ratio and new production capacities, allow us to successfully develop long-term partnerships with the largest retailers in Europe,’ emphasized Mitev, adding that Bella Bulgaria has increased its production capacity for pastry products by 12,000 tons per year through its new factory for products made from rolled dough in Svilengrad.

Bella Bulgaria’s pastry products, under both its own and private labels, are offered on all key markets through the company’s direct contacts with leading European retailers such as Mercadona (Spain), the Schwarz Group – Lidl (Germany), and Kaufland International (Poland, Croatia, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, and Germany), Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord, REWE, and Tesco (Central Europe).

All production facilities in Bulgaria are powered by green energy. The company holds registered patents that certify world innovations in food production.
