‘As a professional association, we have the unique potential and the strength to deal with the challenges and overcome them. We thank to the 34 true enthusiasts who joined the industry in 1994 and realized in time the power of making one united guild!’. With these words, the President of the Association of Meat Processors in Bulgaria (AMB) and Director Operations at the food company Bella Bulgaria Atanas Urdzhanov congratulated the members of the organization on the occasion of its a quarter of a century anniversary. He wished to his colleagues this anniversary to be beginning of their greatest and most significant successes, to have satisfied customers and many new and long-term partnerships.

Today, AMB members are 102 companies. They celebrated the professional day at a garden party with colleagues, industry partners, representatives of the Bulgarian and foreign institutions – employees from different ministries and agencies, deputies, ambassadors, trade attaches. Special guests at the anniversary of the Bulgarian organization were representatives of the European Association of Meat Processors, the Romanian Meat Processing Association and the Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

Traditionally, the annual meetings of AMB become an exhibition of the most preferred Bulgarian meat products. This year among them were products of the brands LEKI and Orehite.
