Atanas Urdzhanov Headed the Council of Branch Organizations at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

At the regularly held annual General Assembly, the members of the Council of Branch Organizations (SBO) at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) adopted the SBO activity program for 2023 and elected the composition of the SBO Bureau headed by Atanas Urdzhanov. He is the chairman of the Association of Meat Processors in Bulgaria and vice-chairman of the Food Industry Union. Lyudmil Ivanov (member of the Board of the Branch Chamber of Manufacturers and Traders of Hoists and Cranes) and Lachezar Iskrov (member of the BC of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, responsible for the cooperation of the Chamber with the branch organizations) were elected as vice-presidents.
The main priority in the SBO program for 2023 is the adoption of a Law on branch organizations, which will clearly regulate their institutional status. Special attention is also paid to the connections between branch organizations and vocational high schools and their importance for the training of personnel in the relevant specialties.
